John's Father, Carmine Sperazza, began the Workroom in Port Washington during the late 1960's. Worked alongside his father learning the business inside and out over the years and continued his education in the field of design, earning his bachelor of arts in interior design and taking over the business in the late 1980's. John is an industry member of ASID. Workroom Creations continues to carry on the tradition of excellence his father began by servicing the design trade and their clients throughout the North Shore and Tri-State area.
“Having upholstered furniture by my father’s side from the age of 12, I have the benefit of experience working on furniture that can only be obtained by working hands-on. This enables me to able to come up with various solutions to any issue relating to furniture upholstery.”
